Couture Events is a full-time wedding and event planning company in New Braunfels, Texas. Founder and lead coordinator, Jill McCarty, has taken her high-energy style and experience and developed a business to assist those who are dreaming of creating the perfect day and the perfect event. Whether the affair is a small intimate setting, a family bar-b-que, corporate event, fundraiser or the most important day of a couple's life- a wedding, Couture Events will tend to every detail. Our focus is always to advocate for our clients and their interests. As our client, you can rest assured your day is as important to us as it is to you. Your beautiful event is also our success.

Our goal at Couture Events is to bring a special touch and fresh outlook to every event. We are there for you every step of the way. If you have only set the date and want us to do it all or you just need assistance along the way, we will be there whenever you need us.

Our professional staff will handle all the details so you can throw the best event with no worries. We want you to enjoy the planning process, too! Jill McCarty
Founder & Lead Coordinator

Jill McCarty has been in the business of entertainment and fashion for over 20 years. Many years as a singer, band leader, emcee, DJ and KJ, she witnessed most every event happen from the inside out. While performing at numerous weddings, receptions and events, she realized that many times there was a great frustration behind the scenes. Generally, those with the most to celebrate are the ones stressed to the max and worried about the details. While planning her own wedding, she knew she had a knack for making beautiful things happen. Friends and family saw her passion and attention to detail, and quickly began asking for assistance. Many wedding and events later, she decided to follow her passion. She studied Wedding and Event Planning through QC Event Career School and received her diploma and an Award of Merit for outstanding creative ability.

Jill also has many years of experience in the fashion industry as a buyer for a major American-branded company. She prides herself in staying current with the trends and she always listens to what the customer wants. She has an outstanding record of customer service, and is anxious to bring that enthusiasm to each and every client, family and vendor she works with. In 2018, Jill co-founded the New Braunfels Wedding Chamber which became the Hill Country Wedding Specialists. She also fulfilled a career goal in 2018 by becoming the owner and organizer of the annual Hill Country Wedding Show, which quickly became the largest and most interactive wedding show in New Braunfels. To say she is passionate about the wedding industry, Hill Country couples and industry professionals, would be an understatement. In 2019, Jill also became an ordained minister to give her clients the option of being married by someone who knows their event like no other. Jill can literally guide you through and customize every aspect of your special day- from set up to send-off. Jill would love to get you connected with the best of the best and to turn your vision into a reality. When you hire Jill, you hire a friend and an advocate for you every step of the way.

Lauryn Curtis
Coordinator

Lauryn Curtis has been planning events with Couture Events for over 3 years. She started her journey as a Coordinating Assistant and has moved into the coordinator position. Lauryn graduated from New Braunfels High School in 2019 and is currently a senior at The University of Houston pursuing her degree in hospitality management. After earning her bachelor's degree, she will work towards a master's in business at Texas State University. What drew her to event planning was her passion to bring people together and have a great time. She loves being able to see an event unfold from beginning to end. During her first semester of college, she was given the assignment to interview someone in the field of study she wanted to pursue. Lauryn researched event planners in her area and completely fell in love with Jill’s work and the story of her venture into the world of event planning. After her interview with Jill, she drew an even deeper enthusiasm for planning. Jill saw that passion in Lauryn and asked her to become a part of the team at Couture Events. She happily accepted and the rest is history. In her free time, Lauryn spends time with her family and friends, sewing, dancing, or reading. She is very detail-oriented, quick on her toes, and a great problem solver.

Brooklyn Chavez
Coordinating Assistant

Brooklyn Chavez graduated from Marble Falls High School in 2020 and is currently a junior at Texas State University. She is pursing a degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Fashion Merchandising. Brooklyn is very passionate about all things bridal, which is what initially drew her to wedding planning. Brooklyn found her passion for wedding planning while interning at different event planning companies. She quickly realized that her love for wedding planning stemmed from her love for people and the love couples share with each other. (She is a hopeless romantic) After meeting Jill and Lauryn, she knew that everything she loves about weddings is everything Couture Events values as a company. As a Coordinating Assistant, Brooklyn has not only learned about business but has also made everlasting bonds with the brides and grooms she has the pleasure of working with. Brooklyn joined Couture Events in November 2022. She is very outgoing and is always willing to be there when you need her. Brooklyn's hobbies include painting, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with family.

Riley Sellers
Executive Assistant

Riley Sellers comes to us from Cypress, Tx, where she graduated from Bridgeland High School in 2021. Riley is currently a sophomore at Texas State University, working on her Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on elementary education. Though Riley has only been with Couture Events for a few months, she brings the energy and organization that Jill needed in the office. In her free time, Riley likes going to music festivals, spending time with her family and friends and watching new movies.
